Apartments
The Rob Roy Main Building is located in the original Rob Roy Hotel building which dates back to the 1930’s and which has been extensively renovated and upgraded to accommodate 32 fabulous apartments over 4 levels serviced by its own lift. Under-floor heating has been installed in the passages, the dining room and all bathrooms/kitchens of the apartments.
All the apartments are designed in either a bedsitter or one or two bedroom configuration in varying sizes, all have their own kitchens. The living areas of many of the apartments open onto private balconies with superb views. The top level apartments in particular incorporate some interesting design features with 2 apartments having their own private roof terraces.
The Mary Campbell Wing, named after Rob Roy’s wife comprises 27 one or two bedroom apartments over 3 levels. All these apartments have their own private covered patios facing either in a north-westerly direction with views over the Valley of a Thousand Hills or in a south-easterly direction with distant views of the city skyline and Indian Ocean from the upper floors.
Centrally located are the gymnasium, indoor heated pool and spa bath. The Auditorium, which can be used as a meeting or recreation room, is ideal for presentations by visiting guest speakers or for plays and choirs. It also serves as a cinema.
The Mary Campbell Wing has its own lift which provides access to all floors including 2 levels of basement parking for residents. Laundry facilities are provided in both wings, and shopping trolley bays are also available in the basement together with the rest rooms and ablution facilities for staff.
